Notes on Selection
Multi-spindle drilling machine and Multi-spindle tapping machine have similar
functions with special machines because many holes are machined at once.
In order to use machines with the highest efficiency, the most suitable
model must be selected.
Multi-spindle machines are designed and developed to perform "The
smallest pitches between spindles" and "The biggest machining
capacity of one spindle".
So please be careful to select machine with being aware that the applicable
range of machine is rather narrow than standard drilling machine.
Explanation for Machine Specification
The Number of Spindle
It is recommendable to select the model, which has larger quantity of spindles
than the number of holes to be machined on work piece.
On request, it is possible to make the machine with many spindles, which
is not on a catalogue.
Drilling or Tapping Capacity
Machine capacity depends on motor power, material of work piece, tool and
cutting condition.
Machining capacity of one spindle depends on strength of driving mechanism
parts.
"The max. Number of holes machined with max. Diameter per one spindle"
and "max. Tool size of machined with the standard number of pinions"
is indicated. Anyhow to select the model must be done by considering many
conditions finally.

Machining Area
Machining area shows maximum area where spindles can be installed.
We recommend that you had better take it into consideration that which
has bigger area than the work piece hole position at the time of select
the model.
Also special specified area machine (larger area) is available.
Spindle Speeds
Spindle speeds are set as the most common revolution.
RT type Multi-spindle Tapping machine (High speed type Multi-spindle Tapping
machine) is also available.
Distance between Spindle Head and Table
The size shows maximum distance between spindle head and table.
To select model, the thickness of work piece and the length of spindle
or cutting tool must be considered.
Spindle Configuration Area
Sizes and setting position of work piece (spindle configuration) must be
considered whether it interferes column or not.
