Optional features can be added to the basic machine specifications in order to create a most rational machine suitable for your demand. In selecting or designing your machines, our sales engineers are glad to consult with you about your order. ◇ Best choice makes high performance Best choice makes high performance The multi-spindle drilling and tapping machines have performance comparable to multi-purpose machines because it makes many holes at one time. Please select an appropriate machine that matches work pieces to demonstrate the machine performance perfect. ◇ How to choose in detail The multi-spindle drilling and tapping machines are designed for both requests that are "minimum pitch between spindles" and "maximum machining performance of each spindle". Therefore, each model has a smaller range of application than that of a general-purpose drilling machine. 	Basic Specifications
	◇ The number of spindles It is desirable that the machine has more spindles than the number of holes on the work piece. In addition to the specifications shown in the catalog, the machines are available with different numbers of spindles, special spindle arrangement, different rotation frequencies, mixture of drilling, tapping and reaming, etc. ◇ Drilling and tapping capacility The overall machining capability varies with the power of main spindle motor, workpiece material, cutting tools, and other cutting conditions including required machining accuracy. And the machining capability per spindle depends on the strength of the drive system. The machining capabilities shown in the catalog are all reference values by material. Our sales engineer will help you determine the final capabilities in consideration of all the factors involved. ◇ Machining area In selecting models, the maximum machining area is determined by the hole positions in the workpiece. As with the number of spindles, it is recommended that the machine model has a little larger area than actually required. Models providing special machining areas are also available upon request. ◇ Main spindle speed Each model has its typical spindle speed that is decided to meet the most general processing. Special models with multiple motors, of ultra-high-speed type or low-speed-high-torque type, etc., are also available upon request.
